Oxendon Tunnel is situated along the Brampton Valley Way about three miles south of Market Harborough. The best way to get to it is by bicycle or on foot along the disused railway line, which stretches 15 miles to Northampton.

The upkeep of the track is good and it makes for a good day out for any outdoor enthusiast. Be warned though, the tunnel is cool in Summer and mild in Winter, and is often dripping water in places. It is also very dark inside, so lights on your bicycle are essential, and a torch handy for those on foot.
